A floor plan is a visual of a room or building scaled and viewed from above. The floor plan may depict an entire building, one floor of a building, or a single room. It may also include measurements, furniture, appliances, or anything else necessary to the purpose of the plan. Floor plans are used to help design furniture layout, wiring systems, and much more. For the next assignment you will be creating a basic floor plan of the classroom. You will be drawing the design on graph paper by taking exact measurements of the room and scaling those measurements down.
